3. If I fill out the finance application, am I obligated to finance through Hennessy Auto?
No. When you fill out the finance application with Hennessy Auto there is no obligation to finance or lease through Hennessy Auto. The credit application is merely a tool to help you in the car buying process.
4. What are the insurance requirements for a vehicle that I finance or lease?
Insurance requirements will vary based on the state where you live in.
Finance: If you financed your vehicle, Hennessy Auto requires you to maintain physical damage insurance covering loss or damage for the full value of the vehicle for the term of your contract. There are no deductible limitations. We do not have minimum liability requirements for the financed vehicles.
Lease: If you leased your vehicle, Hennessy Auto will accept the minimum liability required by the state in which your leased vehicle is garaged. Physical damage insurance is required for the full value of the vehicle, with a maximum deductible of $1,000.
5. Â How secure is the online credit form?
Hennessy Auto works hard to protect your privacy and security. We have adopted technology ant security standards widely used throughout the online banking industry. When you submit your credit application or access your account information, your data is encrypted for further security.
6. What happens after my application is received?
After you submit your online application, or credit analysts review it and make a decision. If you are approved, we will notify you via email, usually within one business day. The email will contain a pre-approval certificate embedded in it that is valid for 30 days from the date it was issued.Â
In some cases, Hennessy Auto may need more time to finalize a credit decision. If you are not contacted within one business day, we will contact you with details on the status of your application. You should receive a final credit decision from us within three business days.
7. Will a credit check be run on my co-applicant?
Yes. Since your co-applicant is applying to be the co-buyer or lessee on your finance or lease contract, we need to run a credit report for you and your co-applicant.
8. I'm a recent college graduate. Do I need a co-buyer or lessee to finance or lease a vehicle?
If you meet our criteria as a college graduate, you can qualify for the Hennessy Auto College Graduate Finance and Lessee Programs, and you won't need a co-buyer. You can learn more about our Hennessy College Graduate Program here to see if you qualify.
9. Can I finance a Certified or used vehicle?
Yes. Just like financing a new car, you will have to follow the same process by filling out the financial application online or visiting us in person at Hennessy Auto.
10. The website and application list an MSRP. How is the final sales price determined?
The MSRP is the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price. The final price will be agreed upon by you and the dealer.
